Hello friends!

This August I will be running the Falmouth Road Race for the second time on behalf of Calmer Choice, an incredible non-profit organization here on Cape Cod dedicated to teaching inner resilience through mindfulness awareness. I have set a goal of $1,000 and would love your help in meeting this goal.  

Since running last summer,  I have had the priveledge of teaching this curriculm to the third and fourth graders at the Eastham Elementary school.  We look forward to continuing in Eastham with kindergarten, first and second grades this coming school year.  Sharing the classroom with these children and teachers is such a joy!  They are curious and eager to learn.  They love to share stories of how applying the information and skills they learn during our time together helps them to find a sense of calm and power in challenging situations.  

Over 15,000 students in classrooms across Cape Cod have benefited from having Calmer Choice taught in their schools. These fundraising efforts support bringing this curriculum to our children with a goal of diminishing the risk of violence, substance abuse and other self-destructive behaviors. Investing in our children is essential to nurturing a strong and healthy community for us all.

Calmer Choice is running the 2017 Falmouth Road Race again this year!  We are so excited to partipate in such a fabulous event.  We are hoping to get 25-30 runners this year!
